Sheree Carter Chase, RN, MSN/MBA

Sheree Carter Chase, RN, MSN/MBA joined the MASTRI Center as its Training Specialist and Clinical Educator.    

 

After receiving her Bachelor of Science from Coppin State College in 1995, she began her career as a medical surgical nurse at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center , later branching into critical care nursing.  In 2001, she graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a dual MSN/MBA degree while continuing nursing at the bedside.

 

In 2003, she began working within the UMMS as a Clinical Educator whose responsibilities included curriculum development  and training of a wide variety of healthcare professionals ranging from undergraduate nursing students to physicians. 

 

By 2006, she assumed her position as the Training Specialist for the MASTRI Center .  Her primary duties include: curriculum development and evaluation, inventory management, development of MASTRI Center policies and procedures, and training.  She is one of three FLS proctors at the UMMC and is a also a proud part of the team that helped the MASTRI Center become one of the first 20 nationally accredited simulation centers by the American College of Surgeons.
